Scott "That Nametag Guy" Ginsberg explains why he calls me
an online marketing "Rock Star":
[no, I did not pay Scott to make this video]
I am the founder and President of Windsor Media Enterprises, Inc., a new media publishing company that specializes in professional business blog creation, training, and social media strategy. Working with Nestle' Purina and The Simon Graduate School of Business, among others, has given me an insiders' view of how corporations and educational institutions use the interactive value of new media. There is no one right answer, and each company must understand the value of engagement before venturing into social media as a business tool.
Looking back, I will tell you that I'm a former web content writer. After I self-published my first book, Dickless Marketing: Smart Marketing to Women Online, I decided to become a publisher, myself. My dedication was in helping authors have the best publishing experience possible. Today, the WME Bookstore has over a dozen business books with topics as diverse as leadership, inspiration, marketing to women, and scuba diving. NOTE: Presently, January 2009, WME Books is not accepting new manuscripts.
My blog on marketing to women online over at Lip-sticking, got me involved with blogging as a business practice. My focus on the women’s market introduced me to hundreds of exciting professionals and prospects who wanted to learn to do what I do. How could I resist? Over a short period of time, the social media side of the business was booming. My interest in books, supporting my authors, is still as strong as ever, but the pull of social media for business purposes is where I am focusing my attention these days.
Together with the Windsor Media Enterprises team, I'm eager to work with business professionals and companies interested in social media as a business tool.
I invite you to visit the petblog I write and manage (with Dr. Larry McDaniel) sponsored by Nestle' Purina at Scratchings and Sniffings and hop over to my other Nestle Purina project, the new PurinaCare blog for pet health insurance. (my passion for pets is at least as equal to my passion for social media and marketing to women online!)
Along with my experience working with small and large companies on business blogging, I bring keen insight and expertise in marketing to women online to each project I work on. The Women's Entrepreneur's Blog at Simon, focused on helping local Upstate, NY women entrepreneurs with clear advice on how to succeed, is managed by Windsor Media Enterprises, and I am proud to be one of the bloggers in a group of outstanding women business leaders here in Rochester, NY.
Most recently, I've co-founded (with Tom Collins and Caroline Golon) the blogging and social media resource for the online pet-loving community: BlogPaws. Out of the gates in late 2009, we've already hosted two successful conferences, BlogPaws 2010 in Columbus, OH, April 9-10, 2010, and BlogPaws 2010 West, in Denver, CO, September 9-11, 2010, and hosted the first ever Dogtime Petties Pet Blog Awards. Major sponsors supported both events and portions of the Denver event were webcast live via uStream.tv. We're looking forward to exciting growth and opportunity in 2011.
For those who desire a CV of sorts, enjoy:
